Our Story
Chikitsashram is the Gopalan Vaidyan Memorial Ayurveda Hospital at Kattanam, Pallickal P.O., Alappuzha. The Late P.O. Gopalan Vaidyan established our sister concern, SBS Ayurveda Vaidyasala, in 1948 — Kattanam's oldest continuing Ayurveda establishment.
With a legacy of six generations of Ayurveda practitioners, Chikitsashram is helmed by Dr. Drisya and Dr. Gopalakrishnan, professionally qualified Ayurvedic physicians. We offer Ayurvedic treatments and therapies including OP consultation, Panchakarma, IP treatments, specialty consultation for lifestyle disorders, the AMAI Vanitha Clinic for women, and doctor-led Yoga therapy.
Our work is grounded in authenticity, continuity of tradition, and the responsible practice of Ayurveda — care that respects classical knowledge and the modern patient.
